Shinryuu, one of the most feared monsters of Final Fantasy 5... Ridiculously easy to beat.
For those who dont know, an SCC is a Single Character Challenge.
I did this at level 63, using X-Fight and Quick.
Also needed are two Dragoon Spears (Stolen from Crystal Dragons in the same area as Shinryuu) and a Coral ring (Found or sold in some shops) to absorb his tidal wave.
After a bit of thinking, i realised my past strategy sucked majorly. So i remade the fight with ExDeath.
This strategy uses White/Magic Sword.
Equipment:
Ragnarok
Excalibur
Ribbon
Black Shirt
Running shoes
I had some compression problems and the movie looks like crap, but i cant be arsed to start over.
The fight in itself is boring anyways, just an attack/heal over and over for 7 mins... No strategy involved, thanks to Cecil being one dimensional.
He was kind of pathetic, he can hit hard (Around 500 HP) but since i know how to RUSE and his only source of competent attacks is physical hits, he didnt do much to me, the Zeus gauntlet came in handy here too.
Probably my favorite fight so far, this one actually gave me trouble, Air Force is somewhat easy, but Chupon and Ultros use some really nasty attacks that take their toll on my HP.
Apology for the second part against Air Force, the background effect really screws up the video quality, but it's still bearable.
On a sidenote, that countdown was damn close. =P
Part 2 against Kary, she's annoying because she has no elemental weaknesses and seems to critical hit a lot. (Criticals ignore the high evade provided by Ruse) her Fire3 was hardly a threat though. :)
And on to tier 2 we go, this tier is the one that has the most HP (combined) and just focuses on beating the hell out of you, the thing to watch out for is definitely Flare Star here, that attack can screw you up if you keep your HP too low, other than that, good old Quadra Slice spamming and healing when needed.
