On November 20th HRC observes the National Transgender Day of Remembrance as an opportunity for communities to come together and mark the passing of transgender people who have died because of hate... what the fuck were they thinking???
Name change is becoming more of a reality by the day... Christmas is only 11 days away and I'm a big ol' loser... and a whole lot of mushy ass feelings. What have a become?
So my brother is in town and I am going to take him all over the city. We've already hit the uptown stuff yesterday so today is Downtown. Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Brooklyn Bridge and China Town.
What I did for summer vacation. Actually it was mine and Morgans 2 year anniversary... so we headed out to Florida and as you would guess... craziness ensued.
Just a transgendered girl hitting up Brooklyn, Union Sq, Downtown, Herald Sq, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park... it's all here... New York City at it's best.

There is not reason to sit by and watch as the government refuses to come to the aid of one of it's most vulnerable groups. Call Nancy Pelosi at 202-225-4965 and make sure she knows that it is unacceptable for Trangender people to be taken off the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.
