The doctor referred Willona's suspicion to a social worker who arrives at the Evans' apartment to get more information. They go to Penny's apartment but find it empty - and Mr. Bookman tells them Penny and her mother moved out!
Penny sneaks into the Evans' apartment while no one's at home. Later, Penny's mother shows up looking for her, accusing Willona of hiding her somewhere inside the apartment. When Penny's mother breaks down, Penny comes out of her hiding place. Her mother loses her temper but catches herself right before she slaps Penny. She then tells Willona she has to get away...without Penny!
JJ is doing a portrait of Savannah Jones, Sweet Daddy Williams' main lady! But upon seeing the portrait, Savannah becomes disgusted with JJ, which causes Sweet Daddy Williams to cancel the one-man art show he was sponsoring for JJ!
